Fakeeh University Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Hand Therapy) to join their dedicated team in Dubai. Responsibilities of Occupational Therapist

• Improve, rehabilitate, or maintain a patient’s motor skills and overall ability to perform everyday activities.
• Evaluating a patient’s condition and needs
• Developing treatment plans to address a patient’s needs and help them meet specific goals.
• Assessing a patient’s home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient’s needs and improve independence.
• Training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment.
• Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes.
• Review and co-sign progress notes written by occupational therapy assistants.
• Participate in mutli-disciplinary management of patients, ensure coordination of treatment goals and discharge planning.
• Complete required department forms accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Occupational Therapist (Hand Therapy) at Fakeeh University Hospital:

• Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience working as Hand Therapist.
• DHA Eligibility / License is must.
• Worked in a hospital setting that specializes in hand therapy.
