Nursing Program Head Institute of Applied Technology UAE

Institute of Applied Technology is presently hiring for the role of Nursing Program Head (HoD) for Fatima College of Health Sciences. The selected candidate will be responsible to oversee academic and non academic operations for Students in department working collaboratively with other HoDs and the Associate Director Academic Affairs within the governance framework.

Responsibilities of Nursing Program Head

• Providing overall leadership and direction for the nursing program, ensuring its quality, relevance, and alignment with regional healthcare needs.
• Overseeing curriculum development, revision, and updates to comply with UAE Ministry of Health and international standards.
• Collaborating with faculty, industry experts and healthcare institutions to develop and maintain a cutting-edge curriculum.
• Managing the budget and resources allocated to the nursing program efficiently.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and supervising nursing faculty, providing guidance and support for professional development.
• Leading faculty meetings, program evaluation initiatives, and strategic planning for the program’s future.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Nursing Program Head are as under:

• Applicants should possess, Ph.D. or equivalent in Nursing/ Pharmacy.
• 5 years of proven leadership experience.
