Job Description

Jumeriah International Nurseries is looking to recruit experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join their well established chain of Nursery/Early Childhood Centres in Dubai. The selected candidate is responsible to lead and manage the overall day to day academic and operational functions of the Nursery /Early Childhood Centre including delivering the vision of the group; maximising the number of children on roll in the various programmes; recruitment, retention and development of staff; overseeing day to day financial systems.

Responsibilities of Nursery Manager

  • Develop & deliver a balanced EYFS /IPC curriculum, underpinned by developmentally appropriate play based activities. Reggio Emilia and Curiosity Approach enriched by Fortes’ Accelerated Learning programmes.
  • Ensure that the premises are maintained at the highest quality standards, & are compliant with the regulations of the Knowledge. Human Development Authority (KHDA), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Dubai Municipality (DM), and other government authorities.

Job Requirements of Nursery Manager

  • A bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education or professional certification in leading Nurseries/ Early Childhood Centre (for example Level 5 vocational qualification).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an Early Childhood setting.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • A comprehensive knowledge of childcare requirements and regulations and previous success in managing a Nursery /Early Childhood Centre.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and an outstanding work ethic.
