Fortes Education is presently seeking a qualified and experienced School Nurse in UAE. The role person will perform their duties at Jumeirah International Nurseries (JINS) in Dubai. Further details about the role responsibilities and job overview are mentioned below.

Job Role of Nurse

Provide nursing services to the students / teachers / school staff including assessment and treatment of illness and first aid in case of emergency.

Duties of School Nurse

• Perform Physical examination of the patient and take medical history.
• Monitor and keep records of Inventory of supplies and medicines.
• Administer medications.
• Adhere to infection control protocols.
• Teaching students about healthy lifestyle and nutrition.
• Deliver optimal care to the patients
• Collaborate with other physicians / health care providers if needed.
• Participate in Quality Control / assessment/ improvement plans.
• Monitor vital signs of patients.
• Respond to emergency situations as per the established protocol.
• Advise students, parents, teachers and school staff on health issues.
• Coordinate routine health assessments in school.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
• 2-3 years of nursing experience following licensure in the country of origin.
• DHA license to practice in Dubai.

Desired Skills

• Excellent Communication skills with fluency in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
• Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent Organizational skills.
• Multitasking ability.
• Empathetic and compassionate.
