Responsibilities

• Perform EEG (Electroencephalogram) and NCS (Nerve conduction Studies )
• Prepare facilities in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Prepare patient for procedures as appropriate to requirements, explains procedures to patients and positions patients as appropriate and assist patients at end of procedure.
• Determine appropriate methodology and techniques to use in administering procedures.
• Maintain stock supplies and assists administrators in determining quantities for purchase, performs general office duties such as recording procedure codes for billing purposes, typing forms, scheduling patients.
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

Requirements for Role of Neurology Technician

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Neurophysiology
• 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role.
