Job Description

Network Planning Analyst, as Etihad continues the fast-paced groth towards Journey 2030, we are opening a position within our Network Planning team that would allow you to support the development and implementation of Etihad’s network strategy by building economically optimised short and long-term network plans for the passenger business. You will also analyze route and system profitability to contribute to the delivery of Etihad’s overall financial targets; and proactively identify and propose value adding network initiatives that can either help to meet or exceed these financial targets.

Accountabilities

  • Participate in economic evaluations of various new routes’ scheduling and partnership options, independently assessing various business risks such as demand planning, competitive landscape, cost implications and financial exposures, to provide management recommendations to support the growth.
  • Coordination with Revenue Management, Alliances & Partnerships, Sales, Government Affairs, Finance and Corporate Communications to develop and implement value adding network changes.
  • Develop a monthly route profitability forecast to support timely decision-making including short-term (tactical) and long-term (structural) frequency and fleet adjustments.
  • Continuously identify and propose network changes to the network manager supported by accurate and detailed business cases.
  • Develop and manage key reports which support Network Planning team drive change.
  • Support the schedule development function to optimise long and short-term schedule development and slot optimisation processes for the passenger business.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years relevant work experience, in commercial strategy and planning, finance or operations research/planning
  • Bachelor’s degree/post-graduate studies (preferred) in a relevant discipline (i.e. Business/ Engineering)

First Officer A320 (Type rated) Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi
