MYP/DP Business Teacher – GEMS World Academy, Dubai

GEMS World Academy in Dubai is seeking a qualified MYP/DP Business Management Teacher to deliver Business within the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. This role is ideal for an experienced IB educator who can develop entrepreneurial thinking and global business awareness in students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Business Management across MYP and DP year groups
• Plan units of work and assessments aligned with IB MYP and DP criteria
• Prepare DP students for IB Business Management examinations (SL and HL)
• Integrate real-world business case studies and current economic events
• Support students with their Internal Assessments and Extended Essays in Business
• Contribute to IB accreditation reviews and programme evaluation

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Management
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of IB MYP/DP Business teaching experience
• Strong understanding of IB assessment practices and philosophy
• Experience with Managebac or similar IB platforms
