Music Teacher – GEMS Metropole School, Dubai

GEMS Metropole School in Dubai is recruiting a creative Music Teacher to inspire a love of music across the school community. The role involves delivering engaging music lessons, leading performances and contributing to the school’s rich extra-curricular programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Music across primary and secondary year groups
• Plan engaging lessons covering performance, composition, listening and music theory
• Prepare students for GCSE Music examinations where applicable
• Lead school performances, assemblies and musical events
• Run extra-curricular music clubs, choirs and instrumental groups
• Support the school’s creative arts programme alongside the Drama and Art departments

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or Music Education
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of music teaching experience
• Proficiency in at least one instrument and ability to direct vocal groups
• Experience with music technology and digital composition tools
