Job Description
Monitoring & Control Supervisor CCTV at Emirates Schools Establishment (Dubai & Northern Emirates) is responsible to monitor and manage the CCTV operations across multiple operators from a central location, ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and school property. Act as a first point of contact for security critical incidents, coordinating responses and escalating issues as necessary.
Duties of Monitoring & Control Supervisor CCTV
- Lead and Supervise: Lead and manage the team to ensure monitoring of live CCTV feed from multiple schools simultaneously, ensuring all areas are properly observed.
- Identify, report, and escalate suspicious activities or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
- Analysis & Reports: Review and validate reports of escalated suspicious activities or security breaches by operators.
- Send validated reports to the Control Room Manager.
- Follow up and coordinate between operators and managers.
- Respond to requests and generate reports from school authorized users for footage review or investigation support.
- Assist in the analysis of footage for investigations and legal inquiries.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations by following predefined protocols and liaising between Control Room Manager and emergency services if required.
- Control room and system checks: Ensure proper functioning of all CCTV equipment, reporting malfunctions for timely repairs.
- Coordinate maintenance request raise by the operators.
- Review and validate logs of all observations and incidents.
- Perform routine checks to ensure the integrity of the security systems.
- Performance Management: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices in security monitoring.
- Professional Growth: Actively participate in training and development sessions to enhance surveillance skills and stay abreast of the latest security technologies and methodologies.
Job Requirements of Monitoring & Control Supervisor CCTV
- Bachelor’s degree in security, technology or within a relevant field.
- 4+ years of experience in CCTV surveillance systems and technology.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage critical situations.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations. High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Primarily office based but may require occasional visits to school sites.
- Must be willing to work in shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods while monitoring screens. May be required to move around occasionally for equipment checks and maintenance.
- May be required to move to schools and remote sites to check and investigate.
- Must have a UAE driving license and have flexibility to move around the northern emirates.
- Speaking, Reading & Writing English & Arabic.
