Job Description

Monitoring & Control Manager CCTV at Emirates Schools Establishment Dubai is responsible to oversee and manage the CCTV control room operations for 524 schools, 3 centralized CCTV Control rooms, ensuring high standards of security and safety. Lead a team of 38 employee with different skills, supervisor, and operators, and liaise with law enforcement agencies as necessary.

Duties of Monitoring & Control Manager CCTV

  • Regular Review: Conduct regular reviews of security protocols and systems and the team to ensure effectiveness.
  • Ensure the security team always maintains strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Training and Development: Manage the training and professional development of the CCTV operator team.
  • Control room and system checks: Manage and approve the maintenance request raise by the Supervisors.
  • Data Out & Forensics Management: Receive requests, review, and approve, Calibration with external authorities.
  • Performance Management: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices in security monitoring.
  • Analysis & Reports: Review the incidents reports from each central and footage to identify patterns and recommend security enhancements.
  • Prepare a Quarterly report for overall operations to the Top Management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices in security monitoring.
  • Crisis Management: Lead crisis management efforts and coordinate responses to emergencies.
  • Liaise with external agencies, including law enforcement and emergency services, as needed.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for monitoring, incident reporting, and emergency response.
  • Coordinate the training and professional development of the CCTV operator team about managing crisis.
  • Audit: Collaborate with the central CCTV control room team for periodic security audits and updates on best practices.
  • Review and validate logs of all observations and incidents.
  • Conduct regular reviews of security protocols and systems to ensure effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the security team always maintains strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Requirements of Monitoring & Control Manager CCTV

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management or within a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience in security operations, 3+years’ experience in team management.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong technical proficiency in CCTV and security system technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and discretion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in challenging situations.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to security and privacy.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development programs.
  • Office based role but may require occasional travel to schools for inspection or training purposes.
  • Must be willing to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • May be required to move to schools and remote sites to check and investigate.
  • Must have a UAE driving license and have flexibility to move around the northern emirates.
  • Speaking, Reading & Writing English & Arabic.
