Responsibilities of MOE Director

Articulate a vision for the house system in the context of the school’s ethos and vision.
Lead, manage, co ordinate, maintain, develop, monitor and evaluate the progress made for children within their specialist area.
Make a full contribution to ensuring high expectations and standards in all aspects of school life with a particular focus on student well being, pastoral care, and enrichment programs.
Work flexibly in supporting the day to day organization and management of the school.
Be accountable to the Senior Leadership Team and ultimately the Principal/CEO.
Contribute to the school’s Performance Management program where appropriate.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of MOE Director are as under:

Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, or a related field (often required).
Master’s degree in education, public administration, or a relevant field (desirable).
Teaching qualification or certificate, if applicable.
Minimum 20 year experience in similar role.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

All students are taught appropriate to their grade group.
The quality of teaching and learning must be at least an emerging level (95%).
All students making at least expectable progress with 25% making better than expected.
Lead on Professional Development of Arabic, Islamic and UAE Social Studies staff to support the above.
Ensure that the Arabic, Islamic, and UAE Social Studies Department sets appropriate homework in 100% of grades.
