Duties of Modern Foreign Language Teacher

• Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with the GEMS Education and national curriculum frameworks for your specific MFL.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Integrate technology and digital tools into your lessons to enhance learning and engagement.
• Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing relevant feedback for improvement.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters language acquisition and cultural understanding.
• Motivate and encourage students to develop their fluency, accuracy, and confidence in using the MFL.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Modern Foreign Language Teacher are as under:

• A B.Ed or subject related degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
• Proven qualified experience of teaching Spanish especially, up to GCSE level required, up to A Levels is preferred.
• Minimum 2 year experience in similar role.
