Jumeirah Group presently has job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Junior Mixologist (Pierchic). The Aspiring candidate will work at Jumeirah Al Qasr in Dubai (subsidiary of Jumeirah Group). This job has recently been posted by Jumeirah Group on 24 October 2023 and is now open for all desirous candidates.

Job Purpose of A Mixologist

To create and craft unique and high quality cocktails while providing an exceptional beverage experience to customers.

Duties of A Mixologist

• Delivers best in class drinks to specification consistently.
• Has impeccable knowledge of all products in the portfolio and can make all drinks as per the brand standard.
• To understand and comply with all local licensing laws and to promote responsible service of alcohol.
• Assists the bar manager in managing stock, ordering, returns and stocktakes.
• Can receive and log all deliveries.
• Has a full understanding of the brand and outlet concept, history and vision and can explain when asked.
• Attends and asks to attend all trainings as required by the business.
• Utilize up-selling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance the outlet’s financial performance.
• Ensure that care is taken in the handling of all operating equipment so as to minimize breakage/damage.
• Ensure all bills are checked for accuracy prior to presentation.
• To be abreast of local and international bar trends and new products.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• High school graduate.

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a Junior Mixologist or a Bartender in a luxury hotel or a high-end restaurant.

Certification

• Alcohol handling certifications and/or bartending trainings.

Skills Desired 

• Proficient in spoken and written business English.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of colleagues and management at all levels.
