InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Mixologist. The selected candidate will specializes in crafting innovative and high-quality cocktails, providing exceptional beverage service, and enhancing the overall guest experience in the hotel’s bar or lounge area.

Responsibilities of Mixologist

• Creating a warm welcome for every single guest that sets the tone for their experience.
• Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard as well as highlighting promotions for guests
• Owning your bar – managing stock, inventory and equipment as well as keeping the space cleaner than clean.
• Handling cash and credit transactions.
• Working closely with your restaurant colleagues to deliver a truly seamless food service.
• Perform any other job duty as assigned by higher authorities.

Requirements of Mixologist

• High School Diploma or equivalent or Bartending certification.
• One year of experience in the same role in a 5-star hotel or a high end bar.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths.
• The flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts .
• Fluent in the local language.
• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling .
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to .
