GEMS Dubai American Academy is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Middle School PE Teacher to join their dedicated team for August 2024. Duties of Middle School PE Teacher

Deliver engaging and interactive PE lessons to MS students, following the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for PE and foster critical thinking skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Ensuring continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
Participate in parent teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

Job Requirements of Middle School PE Teacher

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
A certified professional teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent specializing in PE or similar.
Minimum 2 year experience in similar role.
Proven experience teaching PE at the middle school level.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

Strong knowledge of inquiry based learning and hands on PE education.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
Skilled teacher with a solid commitment to teaching and learning and strong subject knowledge in the relevant area.
