About the Role

As an MFL Spanish Teacher at Aldar Education, you will inspire, engage, and challenge students by creating a nurturing and interactive learning environment. Furthermore, you will deliver high-quality teaching and inclusive learning experiences that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and support students’ academic, social, and personal development. Moreover, you will work collaboratively with fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring Spanish language lessons that help students achieve the best possible outcomes
• Plan, prepare, and present sessions catering for the full ability range within each class
• Organise classroom provision and learning resources to create a positive learning environment
• Observe and assess students in line with school assessment frameworks using Target Tracker
• Use assessment data to influence further planning, provision, and intervention strategies
• Manage classes effectively using approaches appropriate to students’ needs
• Communicate with parents and carers regarding student achievements and wellbeing
• Run a weekly extra-curricular activity each term and contribute to school events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
• A high level of professionalism and consideration for the wellbeing of children
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
• A clean enhanced DBS check or police check
