A Merger & Acquisition Analyst at Abu Dhabi Ports will be responsible to collaborate closely with the M&A Manager to conduct in-depth industry research, analysis and evaluation of potential M&A targets, competitors and growth opportunities in line with the organization’s growth strategy. This is a mid level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 12000 AED to 25000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.
Duties of Merger & Acquisition Analyst
- Carry out preliminary feasibility assessment, conduct forecasting and execute financial evaluation for the identified acquisition targets, utilizing multiple valuation methodologies and metrics to assess company’s financial position.
- Compile data and analyze due diligence related documents such as Investment Committee presentations to rigorously assess potential M&A transactions.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external advisors, including legal and financial consultants.
- Develop, analyze and refine basic financial models to support valuation analysis, risk evaluations and decision making.
- Liaise with Legal Department to analyze and update deals terms and conditions ensuring to be aligned with AD Ports Group policies.
- Prepare customized presentations and reports articulating research and analysis findings of M&A impact to the senior management, the Investment Committee.
- Assist in post-merger integration activities by supporting coordination efforts between various internal departments such as management, operations.
Eligibility Requirements for Role of Merger & Acquisition Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CFA or CPA are advantageous.
- 5-6 years of experience in similar role.
