Merchandiser in Everyday Goods Food at GMG in GMG Building, Umm Hurair Rd, Oud Metha, Dubai, UAE will be part of day to day operations allocated sections in assigned stores while maintain quality service to customers. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 8000-17000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Merchandiser

• Deliver effective customer service and assist customers throughout the day as per the standards and guidelines to promote sales.
• Responsible for preparing the section to trade before store opening as per standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Display the product based on FIFO and ensure that damaged or expired product are removed from the shelves.
• Coordinate in obtaining stock from the warehouse to the selling area and replenish stock as per the display guidelines.
• Maintain self-hygiene standards and adhere to the uniform policy.
• Ensure to record the waste/damage goods for stock accuracy.
• Ensure that prices are accurate and clearly visible to the customer.

Requirements for Role of Merchandiser

• Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior design, graphic design or in related fields.
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a merchandiser in FMCG retail in UAE.
• Must have valid UAE’s light motor vehicle driving license.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

Proficient in English communication skill.
