Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Manager Infrastructure to join their team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, candidate will lead and oversee all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for a large-scale infrastructure project. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 25000-50000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of MEP Manager Infrastructure
- Manage the design, coordination, and implementation of MEP systems for complex infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for MEP-related issues.
- Review and approve MEP drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes for all MEP works.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and team members.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in MEP systems for infrastructure projects.
Requirements for Role of MEP Manager Infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP engineering for infrastructure projects
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, coordination, and implementation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.
- Excellent project management skills, including contract management and budget control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
