Prime Healthcare Group is actively looking to hire suitably qualified candidate for the job role of a Medical Secretary in Dubai. Job Purpose of A Medical Secretary

Provide administrative & management support to nursing practitioners / staff  to maintain efficient nursing unit operations and patient services.

Job Duties of a Medical Secretary

  • Provides support to ensure clinical competence of nursing practitioners within nursing unit.
  • Maintains procedure and administrative controls within nursing unit to adhere to the policies and procedures and deliver to the department / unit KPI.
  • Conducts department orientation of all new nursing practitioners or relieving nursing practitioners in line with Group employee orientation policy.
  • Strict adherence to infection control policy, ensuring appropriate data reporting to contribute to contineous improvement plans.
  • Assists Physiciant with all tasks / work as delegated.
  • Carry out proper treatment documentation for patients to ensure appropriate continuity of patient care during change of shifts.
  • Keep medical records of patients in line with legal requirements and group policies.
  • Conducts documentation audits according to Group policy.
  • Documents clinical information accurately.

Qualification & Experience

  • Nursing diploma program or Bachelor’s of Science in nursing.
  • 2-3 years of experience in same role.
