Medical Licensing Officer King’s College Hospital London Dubai

The position of Medical Licensing officer at King’s College Hospital London in Dubai Hills, Dubai, UAE is having ownership for the overall medical licensing, facility license approval, renewal of the facility license and thereof, any modification in the facility license approvals. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Medical Licensing Officer

• Handle the entire Dubai Health Authority (DHA) process including Health Professional Licensing Credentialing and Examination.
• Keeping track of the DHA license status for all healthcare professionals.
• Initiate communication with healthcare professionals for timely submission of necessary documents.
• Interpret, assist and advise applicants regarding Dataflow and DHA requirements within the specified guidelines.
• Coordinate with the healthcare professionals using proper communication channel for timely processing of documents prior to expiry and update them regularly about the status of license renewal.
• Prepare and submit reports with valid and “in-process of renewal” licenses and updating the Head of People Practices.
• Liaises with Talent Acquisition, People Practice  On Boarding team and PRO to collect all the required documents for the credentialing process.
• Develop and maintain solid relations within the health authority (regular visits to their facility to follow up on new and pending applications).
• Act as a company representative in DHA conferences.
• Report to the concerned Head of the Dept. and the Hospital CEO regularly about the status of the DHA license and any potential risk in this matter.
• Adhere to the Hospital policies and the department policies in general.
• Maintain professional confidentiality at all times.
• Be actively involved in the quality improvement activities within the People Practice Department.
• Arrange for DHA Facility license approval, renewal of the facility license and to update to the DHA for any changes in the facility.
• Responsible for DHA CME Accreditation.
• Liaise with business development team to get necessary facility license approvals and coordinate to complete the process to tie up with the Schools that King’s is associated with.

Requirements for Role of Medical Licensing Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Least 3 years of related knowledge and experience of DHA and Dataflow processes is essential.

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• English language skills, Arabic would be an advantage;
• Possess advanced computer skills, including knowledge of databases and preparation of PowerPoint presentations;
