Responsibilities of Maths Teacher

Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students’ understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
Incorporate the school’s objectives into your Curriculum by remaining up to date with mission and Initiatives.
Regularly communicate with parents and legal guardians regarding child’s performance.
Track and record student progress and keep records up to date for progress reports and report card conferences.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the role of Maths Teacher are as under:

A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B. Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent with a specialism in teaching Music Secondary School (G6 12).
A minimum of 3 years of varied and demonstrable teaching experience in Secondary School, ideally within an IB curriculum school, however, this is not mandatory.
The experience, personality and educational philosophy to continue to drive the education agenda at this flagship GEMS World school with an international student body.
