Mathematics Teacher – GEMS Founders School, Masdar City, Abu Dhabi

GEMS Founders School in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join the secondary maths department. This role is suited to an enthusiastic educator who can deliver mathematics across KS3 and KS4 within a British curriculum framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, preparing students for IGCSE examinations
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including gifted students and those requiring additional support
• Use data to track student progress and implement targeted interventions
• Contribute to the maths department’s co-curricular programme
• Attend departmental meetings, parent evenings and professional development sessions

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related discipline
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of secondary maths teaching experience
• Experience with Edexcel, Cambridge or AQA syllabi
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
