Materials Controller Transguard Group UAE

The Materials Controller at Transguard Group will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials according to production schedules, plan and schedule material or production needs, responsible for departmental operations planning or execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. 

Duties of Materials Controller

• Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
• Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
• Optimize inventory and process improvements.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
• Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers, uses this understanding to accomplish work.
• In-depth understanding of how work of team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Strong cadence and follow up with vendors and suppliers, improving materials availability and precision on gates allocation.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
• Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
• Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
• May use multiple internal sources outside of team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills.
• Provide reports, lead meetings with multiple stakeholders, based on precise data that are also to be available on systems available to other functions.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Materials Controller are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Certified in Planning and Inventory Management Certification is a plus.
• At least 6 years of experience in Job Family.
• Advanced experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution.
