The Marketing & Student Recruitment Executive American University of Ras Al Khaimah is a key member of the Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC). This position supports the marketing and student recruitment office in executing effective marketing and student recruitment plans, branding, social media, and advertising campaigns through proper coordination with the office and other departments of the university. The position is responsible for developing, managing, and recruiting students in the GCC region to achieve growth in student enrollment for the University. The post holder will be responsible for establishing strong relations between AURAK and high schools to drive the recruitment of new students through the partnership. The position also requires the provision of superior customer service in a multi cultural environment. This is a mid-level (Full time) position, and the salary range for this role is 10000 AED – 16000 AED.

Job Requirements of Marketing & Student Recruitment Executive

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Desirable: Master’s degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in university student recruitment and marketing or a combination of experiences in similar recruitment settings.
  • A minimum of 2 years of university experience recruiting/matriculating national, regional, and international students and sound knowledge of higher education and admissions.
  • Experience utilizing lead management technology for student recruitment and admissions through conversions and lead scoring.
  • Experience in developing and managing global student recruitment agents.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (verbal and written) in both small group and large group settings.
  • Motivated, goal oriented, and proven ability to meet student recruitment targets.
  • Experience with CRM platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel as needed for marketing and recruitment activities.
  • Working knowledge of higher education student recruitment best practices, including enrollment trends, data analytics, and digital/traditional recruitment practices.
