Job Description
An exciting opportunity has been announced by Faces (flagship brand linked to Chalhoub Group) for the role of a Marketing Manager in Dubai. Candidate as a Marketing Manager, will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of marketing activities, helping the brand reach the right people and building brand awareness across the regions. Candidate will bring creativity to this role and build the annual marketing strategy, with a strong 360 background. Job holder will oversee Faces main markets including UAE, KSA and Egypt, where we have 57 stores + Ecommerce.
Requirements for Role of Marketing Manager
- Reporting directly into the Head Of Marketing, you will lead all aspects of marketing activities for Faces including brand identity development, campaigns, tactical promotions, media planning as well as product development and research.
- Working closely with the PR agency for annual PR strategies and ensuring the PR strategy is aligned for all campaigns.
- Working closely with the internal Media team and external agency when it comes to the media buying and planning.
- Working closely with different beauty partner brands on marketing collaborations.
- Working closely with the design team to creating assets for campaigns.
- Production planning and shooting for campaigns.
- Create the marketing strategy and calendar for the year in line with the wider team to achieve business goals .
- Executing the marketing plan from ideation to execution.
- Follow up closely on the plans’ implementation, schedule and activities in all concerned markets.
- Working closely with the internal social media team to build brand through social channels.
- Manage and coordinate with concerned parties/departments for the execution of campaigns.
- Organize, attend events and exhibitions.
- Work with the central strategy team to carry out local market research, customer survey, assessing customer demands, brand positioning, monitor competitors’ activities and evaluating market campaigns.
- Review and over-see all copy and content to make sure communications are consistent and on brand.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
- Build strategic relationships internally and externally to deliver the best outcome.
- Understanding of CRM and e-commerce to drive conversion.
- Manage the marketing budget and keeping track of expenses.
Requirements for the Role of Marketing Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or in a related field.
- 2+ years previous experience in a marketing manager role.
- Previous experience in building brand awareness across the ME region (a focus on KSA and the Gulf is a plus).
- Budget management experience as well as strong commercial and business acumen.
- Production/Shoot experience.
- Experienced in managing agencies across media, PR and creative.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Arabic speaking, reading and writing is a plus.
- Organizational, leadership and teamwork skills.
- A team player, ability to work cross-functionally with all teams/departments.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence stake-holders.
- Ability to build the marketing strategy and annual brand plans.
- Ability to ideate and execute campaigns with a creative flair.
- Proven track record of successful campaigns.
- Digital marketing acumen to work closely with performance marketing and e-commerce teams.
- CRM understanding.
- Well versed with activations events.
- Ability to understand customer and demands research and analyse them to identify strategies.
- Someone who has a creative and conceptual mindset and can think outside of the box.
