Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator at Majid Al Futtaim will be responsible to effectively coordinate and facilitate the day-to-day operations of the Marketing department including Reporting, handling mails and correspondence both internal and external and assisting the Marketing team in general administration.
Duties of Marketing Coordinator
- Prepare any related correspondence to assist the Marketing Manager, ensure to maintain an accurate filing system for follow up, record and tracking purposes in line with the Audit requirements and as per Department’s policies and procedures.
- Issuance of weekly and monthly reports on footfall and sales analysis, budget and forecast and other reports as requested by the management.
- Prepare Marketing LPOs, PRs and liaise with SMBU Finance function and Marketing Administrators to ensure accurate tracking and follow up.
- Maintain accurate records for all marketing expenditures.
- Co-ordinate with Marketing Team with respect to all third-party suppliers and Retailers on day-to-day Marketing activities, including administration of all correspondences both verbal and written, ensuring that it is all checked to meet with the quality and professional standard of the company.
- Organize storage area for the Marketing Department & keep track of all inventories.
- Follow up with all agencies on key deliverables, end of month reports and financial settlements.
- Provide all necessary data / reports on a periodic basis pertaining to marketing activities to the Manager Marketing for review.
- Support with suppliers briefing for events, activations & ongoing requests.
- Support in the preparation of the campaigns pre & post events in timely manner with the assistance of the asset leads associate manager
- Support with the execution Marketing Event, activations and Government’s activities in the mall.
What You’ll Do More?
- Work closely with the Media and Promotions Team for the booking of the mall common areas for Marketing activities.
- Follow up on the promotion redemption process at the customer Service Desks.
- Ensure campaigns permit issuing & closing requirements are done in appropriate manner in line with the department policies & procedures.
- Maintain records of the sponsorship revenues and payments/receivables in addition.
- Be the champion of great moments by introducing unique marketing initiatives & events to amplify the brand positioning in the market.
- Work closely with the digital team to activate the mall social media pages.
- Ensure compliance with the MAFP SMBU’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures always.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for role a Marketing Coordinator are as under:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration.
- 1-2 years of experience in similar role.
