Job Description
As part of their global expansion, HSBC is actively looking for Marketing & Growth Manager to be based in the UAE. This role will play a crucial role in driving their business expansion in the UAE. Role holder will lead, execute & manage growth initiatives and strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives. As an integral part of the growth team, this role contributions will be vital in scaling their business and achieving significant growth.
Responsibilities of Marketing & Growth Manager
- Manage and execute the localised go to market playbook for user acquisition, engagement, and retention, ensuring the app’s successful launch in the target launch market.
- Work closely with the local launch team and central growth team to tailor the proposition, leverage various marketing channels and tactics to grow brand awareness and reach the target audience.
- Identify and establish new strategic partnerships to drive adoption and acquire customers in the local market.
- Serve as the Marketing & Growth SME to understand market dynamics and identify growth opportunities and partnership initiatives to meet strategic objectives accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, pricing, design and marketing, to develop and implement effective campaigns aligned with business objectives.
- Adapt the growth and partnership playbook for regional expansion, outlining best practices, key processes, and strategies for successful go-to-market strategy and execution in the target markets.
- Set up, manage and track growth performance. Use data to drive decision making in order to optimise go to market strategies and tactics.
Requirements of Marketing and Growth Manager
The requirements of Marketing and Growth Manager are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in similar role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Demonstrated success in driving growth and establishing partnerships within the banking or fintech industry.
- Extensive knowledge of UAE market landscape and market dynamics.
- Strong understanding of user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies, with a track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and drive initiatives to completion.
- Team player who can work independently and multi task.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and analyse data to make informed decisions and optimize growth and partnership performance.
- Proactive with bias for action, and has the initiative to thrive in a fast-paced environment to deliver and meet deadlines.
