Job Description

Pharmalink Drug Store is currently seeking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Market Access & Insurance Relations Manager in 27th St, Al Quoz, Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, Dubai, UAE. This is a Senior level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 12000-25000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities of Market Access & Insurance Relations Manager

  • Support reimbursement efforts by cultivating relationships with KOLs and state professional society leaders in addition to staying informed on local reimbursement issues through meetings, KOL interviews, and public forums.
  • Expand market access by Identifying and actualizing opportunities through specialty distributors, integrated health plans, and technology assessment organizations/committees.
  • Expand patients and provider access to PL portfolio by Identifying and establishing strategic relationships with large buyers and patient advocacy organizations.
  • Maximize pull-through and leverage available resources by working cross-functionally within field sales, sales management, strategic accounts, and marketing.
  • Assist management in business decisions by providing market feedback on customer business trends, competitive updates and industry issues and opportunities
  • Contribute to profit maximization by building relationships with key buying influencers in major accounts and developing plans to enhance their support for the PL portfolio.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in insurance and reimbursement landscapes.
  • Present data and insights to key decision makers to influence decision-making and support product value propositions.

Requirements for Role of Market Access & Insurance Relations Manager

  • Bachelors Degree of Pharmacy/Sciences.
  • 3-5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in the UAE Market.
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong relations with key decision makers (Healthcare authorities, hospitals, insurance companies. Such as Daman, AXA healthcare etc) and major purchasers across the UAE.
  • Experience in negotiation of pricing and reimbursement terms with insurance companies to maximize product access and profitability.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

English & Arabic.
