Responsibilities Of Marine Superintendent 

• Assist in establishing and setting maintenance standards of the company managed vessels in compliance with the company’s SMS guidelines.
• Monitoring of the PMS system and ensuring periodic verification of maintenance preformed; inventories of spares and stores onboard.
• Ensuring the validity of vessels statutory and trading certificates and updating them routinely.
• To undertake tech inspection of company vessels as ordered by line manager by travelling to vessel location.
• Be present on-board vessels during refits, repairs, services and supervise performance of the jobs by vendors in accordance with the LPOs. Check work completion/work measurement for each job and assist chief engineer. Signing of the work done certificate/service report.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by higher authorities.

Requirements Of Marine Superintendent

• Engineering Diploma or equivalent
• Internship in any shipping field will be beneficial.
• 3-5 years experience in similar roles.
