Duties Of Marine Personnel Superintendent
- Drafts marine personnel allocation plans based on feedback from department of concerned fleet and supervise implementation of these plans.
- Follow up recruitment and approach manning agencies, where necessary, in order to man the ships in line with requirements (ship type, rotation type) and any applicable standards, rules, policies and procedures.
- Follow up administrative activities regarding obtain of visas, security clearance and other official documentation for marine personnel in compliance with company, country and industry requirements.
- Review payments and claims of marine personnel and endorse them for payment as per applicable policies and procedures.
- Supervise payroll processing for timely and accurate payment ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Remain informed of market trends regarding compensation and benefits of Marine Personnel to maintain competitive position of the company in targeted market with regard to attracting competent and highly qualified manpower.
- Receive grievances and follow up issues of marine personnel, investigate circumstances with shipmasters.
- Maintain healthy working environment that fosters good employee relations, rewards performance and ensures an upward performance curve.
Requirements For Marine Personnel Superintendent

- Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration fields or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 8 years of experience in marine activities or relevant industry
- Thorough knowledge of ship manning certification requirement.
