The selected candidate will lead a team of Data Analysts and will be pivotal in enhancing the data analytics and data visualization capabilities at SSMC. Purpose of A Manager (Data Analytics and Business Intelligence)

• This role will lead the development of a balanced scorecard, along with the management of its lifecycle on a monthly basis. In addition, this role will introduce a full in-house Business Intelligence capability that can provide bespoke as well as routinized reports / dashboards / scorecards to leadership teams.
• This role will be crucial in reducing data slots across SSMC and eliminating ‘orphan analytics’ across the organization by creating a platform to leverage and re-use data that is reliable and of high quality.

Job Duties of A Manager (Data Analytics and Business Intelligence)

• Lead and manage all organization wide data analytics and data visualization.
• Contributing towards strategy development of key KPIs and future proofing frameworks.
• Create roadmaps for all aspects related to tooling and automation related for data analysis and data science.
• Work closely with IT team, including data architect and DBAs to establish a robust analytics and data platform that can be scaled effectively across the organization.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional team and wider stakeholders to design, evolve and communicate data architecture for new and changing requirements.
• Establish and govern an enterprise data and analytics implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information based capabilities.
• Develop analytical frameworks and metrics for the team and broader business needs and technology.
• Partner with Business Leaders to understand organizational objectives and anticipate analytical needs of internal stakeholders.
• Develops strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
• Defines company-wide metrics and relevant data sources.
• Selects, configures, and implements analytics solutions.
• Leads and develops a team of data analysts.
• Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.
• Extract reports from multiple sources (e.g. operations, IT, customer feedback).
• Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
• Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance.

• Advanced SQL – ability to build views and stored procedures using Select, Update, Create, Execute.
• Ability to use Join, create functions (scalar and table), use Triggers, and use built-in functions.
• Advanced SSRS – ability to build, modify and customize SSRS reports.
• Ability to build subscriptions, deploy reports, create charts, and export to Word, Excel.
• Advanced Presentation tools (PowerBi/Tableau) – ability to build, modify and customize dashboards, update data via queries, deploy dashboards, use programming language, import apps from proprietary Stores to build more robust charts, and use predictive analytics tools.
• Advanced Excel – ability to create formulas, number formatting, filters, conditional formatting, use of functions, pivot tables, build dashboards and create charts.
• Working knowledge of Python and R.
• Working knowledge of Statistical analysis and concepts.
• Knowledge of Project Management steps such as Concept planning, Execute, Control, Close.
• Knowledge and ability to build Windows apps using VB.NET or C#.NET.
• Technical Background: Computer Science, Information Systems.
• Working in Cerner environments highly preferred.
• Knowledge in setting data management strategy.
