Job Description
The Manager, Quality and Patient Safety plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high quality, patient-centered care by leading and overseeing quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives across. M42 Outpatient Care Cluster. The Manager works closely with clinical and operations leaders, frontline staff, and regulatory bodies to drive a culture of continuous improvement, high reliability, and excellence in patient outcomes. Manager fosters teamwork and champions service excellence. The Manager serves as a resource and subject matter expert, providing leadership and oversight to proactively address quality and patient safety issues and to ensure that care delivery is consistent with best practices, regulatory standards, and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Outpatient Care Cluster quality and patient safety initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, patient experience and operational efficiency
- Oversee Jawda KPI collection, validation, and Tasneef process and KPI Audits
- Proactively monitor, assess, and mitigate patient safety risks through proactive surveillance, root cause analysis (RCA), and risk reduction strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Facilitate and oversee high-reliability organization (HRO) principles, clinical audits, and performance improvement
- Foster and promote a culture of safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or equivalent field required; Master’s Degree in healthcare related discipline preferred
- Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent required
- A minimum of five (5) years in healthcare quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance required
- Experienced in a facility accredited by Joint Commission International required
- Expertise in quality improvement principles and statistical methodologies
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to drive organizational change and performance excellence
