Dubai Culture is presently hiring for the job role of Manager of Al Fahidi Neighborhood in Dubai. This is a full time job. All Nationalities can apply but Priority will be given to UAE National. The salary ranges from 30001 AED to 40000 AED that is slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Responsibilities of Manager of Al Fahidi Neighborhood

  • Preparing and supervising the implementation of the operational plan, programs, projects and annual budget for the district in accordance with the policies and regulations approved by the Authority.
  • Contribute to the preparation of methodologies, policies, processes and procedures for management and work to propose improvements on an ongoing basis in accordance with the best international standards and practices.
  • Managing and supervising the heritage district, following up on internal operations and performance. 
  • Communicating and coordinating with relevant authorities to develop the heritage neighborhood, including heritage programmes, content and products.
  • Planning and supervising the implementation of events and initiatives, participating in developing general plans for exhibitions, events and heritage activities within heritage neighborhoods and supervising their implementation in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
  • Working to host events, folkloric performances, folk dances, and handicrafts in order to reflect the traditional life in the Emirates.
  • Working to host events, folkloric performances, folk dances, and handicrafts in order to reflect the heritage life in the Emirates and attract the interest of residents and tourists in cooperation with the Heritage Activities Department.
  • Study and evaluate the effectiveness and success of the activities held.

What you will do more?

  • Supervising the preparations for events and activities held in heritage neighborhoods and working to solve problems and difficulties that may be encountered in coordination with those concerned.
  • Strengthening relations with internal and external partners in coordination with the relevant departments.
  • Ensure the provision of services to all segments of society in accordance with the best standards.
  • Develop plans for media promotion of the neighborhood and supervise the content of publications, bulletins, brochures and promotional media in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
  • Follow up on the application of the global star system standards, implement projects and initiatives emerging from the results of an evaluation at the center.
  • Coordinate with the rest of the departments to meet the requirements of the system
  • Discuss center performance reports, results of secret shopper studies, happiness index observations, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Work on continuous follow-up of any observations related to improving the level of quality of services and customer happiness and implementing the recommendations issued by the main team, “the team for meeting the requirements of the seven-star services standard in the Authority,” and identifying ideas related to improvement and employee happiness and proposing development initiatives.
  • Verifying the application of approved occupational security, health and safety procedures in heritage neighborhoods. 

Requirements of Manager of Al Fahidi Neighborhood

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or its equivalent from an accredited university.
  • 7 years of relevant work experience.
