Manager Network Planning at Etihad Airways will review, analyze and recommend scenarios to the senior manager to decide on network optimization to implement work plans agreements with other airlines and optimal steering mechanisms for revenue maximization. Candidate will also support the strategic Fleet Development Plan for the Company and the equity partners and the evaluation and implementation of codeshare partners agreement to enable a pro-active and dynamic approach to fleet turnover. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-25000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Manager Network Planning

• Manage the overall direction and coordination of the team and implement planning and scheduling strategies to enhance profitability.
• Propose recommendations and identify potential solutions to network performance issues impacting on profitability and support the route network performance process to ensure the adoption of required actions.
• Support and oversee the research and forecasting activities of existing and future routes scheduling to optimize and improve profitability.
• Participate in the economic evaluation of various new routes scheduling and partnership options. Independently assessing various business risks such as demand planning, competitive landscape, cost implications and financial exposures. To provide management recommendations to support the growth.
• Make recommendations and identify opportunities on the basis of existing market data to support decisions on network planning. Scheduling and alliance development to meet customer and business needs.
• Provide senior management with accurate forecasts of seasonal capacity changes through detailed business cases supporting the company and partners with the financial objectives.
• Engage with the Airways Group partners in planning and scheduling activities to leverage possible synergies identified in the strategy.
• Help drive continuous improvement of network management processes, procedures. And systems by troubleshooting problems and recommending and implementing new solutions and/or systems to optimize fleet planning and scheduling.
• Supervise the preparation, maintenance, and interpretation of flight profitability data to ensure alignment with forecasts.

Requirements for Role of Manager Network Planning

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Telecommunications, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering), Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5 years relevant work experience.
