Manager IT Audit, National Bank of Fujairah

National Bank of Fujairah (nbf) is actively recruiting experienced and motivated candidates for the role of a Manager IT Audit. The selected candidate will be assigned to work at nbf branch in Jebel Ali Dubai. This role will be responsible to ensure efficiency in IT audit processes, infrastructure and projects whereby adhering to the bank’s and department’s strategic objectives. Purpose of A Manager IT Audit

To perform complex IT audit and special assignments in accordance with the internal audit charter and annual audit plan with a focus on applications, technology infrastructure (such as networks, databases, platforms), and IT processes (such as security, business continuity, change management, asset and service management.

Duties of A Manager IT Audit

Audit Work Standards

• Perform audit work in accordance within the standards laid out by the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Bank’s audit methodology to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Review of work performed by senior IT Auditor, senior Manager IT Audit & Head of Internal Audit.

Risk Assessment 

• Independently assess IT risks and attendant operational risks.
• Provide suitable recommendations to Head of Audit/Management to mitigate the same (this may be achieved through performing periodical IT Audits, ongoing review of polices, procedures, system reviews, enhancements etc).

Technology Projects

• Participate as an independent consultant in projects involving significant information technology risk as and when assigned.
• Feedback on contribution from Project Sponsor (Mancom or Senior Management).

Application Review

• Review the adequacy of the Bank’s application systems and recommend revisions/amendments where warranted.
• Review the adequacy of the Bank’s infrastructure with reference to contingency and disaster recovery planning and recommend revisions/amendments where warranted.

IT Process Review

• Review the adequacy of the Bank’s policies and procedures over significant IT processes and recommend revisions/amendments.

Audit Automation

• Take initiative and support completion of the audit plan by recommending various automated tools such as ACL, continuous monitoring, etc to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
