Manager Interior Design Jumeirah Group & Corporate

An opportunity has arisen for a Manager Design to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The selected candidate will be responsible for conceptualization, design, and execution of interior design projects across the group’s properties, ensuring that all designs align with the brand’s luxury standards and enhance guest experience, while also managing project budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities of Manager Design

• Collaborate with the Design team to develop and implement design strategies that align with Jumeirah’s overall vision and brand identity.
• Act as a brand guardian and partner with design consultants to produce exceptional design concepts and projects for hotels throughout Jumeirah Group.
• Oversee the design development process, from initial ideation to concept creation and final execution, ensuring adherence to brand standards, project timelines and budgets.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Procurement, to integrate design principles.
• Seamlessly into every aspect of hotels throughout Jumeirah Group.
• Conduct regular design reviews (Consultants drawings, FF&E and OS&E) during all phases of the design process to ensure compliance to brand standards and to provide constructive feedback to design and project teams.
• Collaborate with external design firms, artists, and suppliers to source unique and high-quality materials, furniture.
• Decor elements for hotel projects throughout Jumeirah Group
• Participate in value engineering process to provide cost effective solutions while maintaining Jumeirah brand standards.
• Present design concepts and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and rationale behind each design decision
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulation, sustainability principles, compliance metrics, department standard operating procedures.
• Directives within your defined area of activity so that Jumeirah Group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests and a responsible commitment to the environment.
• Maintain and update brand standards, department documentations and templates.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, design innovations, and emerging technologies to continuously evolve and elevate Jumeirah’s design approach.
• Responsible for Ad hoc tasks, projects and reasonable request made by the Executive team.

Requirements of Manager Design

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field from a renowned university.
• 3 years proven experience 5 years + in a senior design role within the luxury hospitality or high-end residential sector.
