Seddiqi Holding is seeking a Manager in Finance Digital Transformation in Al Thanya Street, Umm Al Sheif, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE, who will be responsible for leading the finance digital transformation roadmap by focusing on making the internal finance business processes efficient with the use of new technology solutions that will deliver business benefits to the function. Candidate is also responsible for advising, designing, project managing the implementation of new digital tools and systems. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-40000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Manager Finance Digital Transformation

  • Strategic: Formulate the policies and procedures for the projects and systems function for Seddiqi Holdings and its group companies
  • Own the finance digital transformation roadmap at Seddiqi Holding by identifying new technology opportunities & guiding design and enterprise-wide implementation of new tools and systems.
  • Digital Transformation: Coordinate with other finance department heads to identify digitization opportunities with respect to systems, processes & reporting requirements to drive efficiency within the function
  • Evaluate and assess new tools and techniques that can be adopted by Seddiqi Holding and provide recommendations to the business (such as different process automation tools, predictive analytics, collaborative robotics, edge computing, etc.)
  • Monitor the automation and streamlining of the processes with the Finance department
  • Identify tools and technologies to scale up the e-commerce platform and strategies within Seddiqi Holding
  • Review and assess feasibility of integrating multiple systems within Seddiqi Holdings across functions together
  • Advise the business on data formats, system integration requirements, tools, processes, Proof of Concept (PoC), workflows and existing standards. To ensure seamless data flow from business systems to finance systems
  • Support organization wide digital transformation initiatives ensuring that requirements from finance are considered in addition to providing advisory on scaling tools or solutions to enhance the finance side of the initiative
  • Collaborate with other finance department heads to build Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the new tools and systems implemented within the finance functio
  • Business Intelligence and Reporting: Review the feasibility of adopting bespoke business intelligence tools and automated reporting tools to enhance the dashboards and reporting, focusing on building towards a self-service reporting functionality for senior management
  • Ascertain that reporting requirements are a combination of both financial and non-financial information
  • Review and analyze the department data flow management to ensure that meaningful insights are developed in reports to the senior management and department heads

What you will do more

  • Liaise with the Information Technology department to ensure that the accurate data is extracted from the system to be presented to the senior management
  • Oversee & advise any data migration activities that involves financial data or information, as integration of legacy information to new systems
  • Project Management: Lead implementation of the new technology by designing change management and adoption strategy.
  • Project Manage the end-to-end the design & development of new digital tools and systems identified as part of finance digital strategy
  • Liaise with Information Technology department to identify change management support interventions such as trainings, communication requirements. End user readiness to mitigate disruption risks
  • Provide guidance & identify requirements to upskill employees on the usage of the automated reporting tools & techniques to ensure sustainable implementation
  • Day to Day operations: Coordinating with IT to ensure seamless financial integrations of data from various systems.
  • Liaising with Finance team for implementation of change request.
  • People Management: Develop talent within the team by providing guidance, ongoing feedback and coaching to achieve the defined goals.
  • Define goals & key performance indicators for each member of the section and ensure effective implementation of the performance management process

Requirements for Role of Manager Finance Digital Transformation

  • Master’s degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 8-13 years job related experience and 3-5 years in implementation of financial technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing finance transformation projects.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Project management skills.
  • Retail fintech (payment gateways and solutions, ecommerce etc…)
  • ERP (preferably SAP), BI (preferably power BI), Budgeting and planning tool, Treasury (Kyriba preferably)
