Job Purpose of A Manager Finance At DAMAC Group UAE

Carry out:-

  • Budget preparation, analysis & reporting.
  • Cost performance analysis and cost control support.
  • Month end book closing process.
  • Senior management MIS reporting.
  • Cash flow and profitability forecast.

What You’ll Do As A Manager Finance At DAMAC Group

  • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data,  preparing reports, making presentation of findings, analysis and recommendation.
  • Support the month end and annual book closing process.
  • Record, review and posting standard, non standard and adjust journal entries.
  • Creates and follow the process of monthly journal entries and maintains and updates prepaid /deferred schedules.
  • Monitor, review and reconcile control accounts (Sub ledger AR & AP), inter company accounts and expense provision /accrual accounts.
  • Evaluate data, prepare forecasts, analyse trends and present results pertaining to sales, operations, information systems and general business conditions.
  • Efficiently manage stake holders and work towards common goals.
  • Develop reports or presentation to senior management regarding the annual budget, cost analysis and periodic (monthly, quarterly or annually) actual financial analysis.
  • Develop and report short to long term business cash forecasts.
  • Financial modelling for various “What if” scenarios and the overall impact to the company.

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.


  • 10 years post qualification experience with 7 years in similar role.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Must have strong MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can do attitude.
  • Team worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems.
  • Financial modelling expertise is a plus.
