Job Description

Manager eStore Sales at Samsung Electronics will drive and boost Samsung online sales growth through Samsung.com across the MENA region. Being part of the RHQ Online team puts you in a leading position at the centre of excellence responsible for maximizing customer experience, brand presence and sales growth across online channels. The position requires an experienced eCommerce Manager who is capable of driving direct-to-consumer eCommerce platforms. This individual will be responsible for driving the online sales performance of Samsung Consumer Electronics products across D2C digital channels. The Requisition ID for this vacancy is R87119.

Responsibilities of A Manager eStore Sales

  • Manage selected MENA markets and their respective product categories to deliver company vision and ensure revenue and customer satisfaction and loyalty goals are met.
  • Maintain up-to-date business, operations, and performance dashboards to provide in-depth visibility and understanding of the online channel’s current and future needs and translate them into sales opportunities.
  • Working closely with MENA markets, online, marketing and product teams to develop the D2C strategy for improving existing setups and launching new eCommerce programs and sellout functionalities.
  • Develop strategy for new product launches in collaboration with product, marketing and advertising teams.
  • Build sustainable product and pricing strategies to drive full product portfolio across all categories.
  • Plan and manage promotional calendar, to build and execute cross divisional campaigns to maximize sellout.
  • Track and manage sell-in, sellout, WOS, OOS, ageing inventory, and provide necessary analysis and drive markets with action plans to achieve targets.
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators to identify gaps then set and deliver action plans with markets key stakeholders and follow through with execution recommendations to positively impact sales performance.
  • Collaborate closely with content team to optimize the customer journey and conversion rates and ensure brand guidelines and standards are met across the different channels.
  • Manage HQ counterparts and attain and deliver best practices improving MENA markets execution.
  • Drive actionable insights (through web analytics and competitive landscape benchmarking) to improve user experience and platform capabilities.
  • Manage eCommerce KPIs for traffic, sales, acquisition and customer interaction.

Requirements For Manager eStore Sales

The eligibility requirements for role of a Manager eStore Sales are as under:

  • Bachelor’s /Master’s degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience within a fast growing eCommerce environment.
  • Experience as a category sales manager in the digital space with strong sales acumen.

Knowledge & Skills Desired

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and technology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be system oriented as well as computer literate and advanced user of MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong sales acumen and experience managing direct-to-consumer platforms (eStores).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, commercial and technical skills.
  • Conceptual and strategic, and must embrace being an owner; getting involved in the details of the business.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills in order to build strong positive people relationships.
  • Comfortable in a collaborative environment; flexible and open to ideas from all areas and levels of the organization.
  • Excellent time management to work on tight deadlines and handle the pressure of last-minute requests.
  • Ability to operate comfortably and optimally in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce trends, competitive landscape and digital customer experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to track and generate data based insights on a weekly basis.
  • Comfortable interpreting sales and web traffic data and deriving actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of data reporting and digital advertising best practices
  • Possess an innovative and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and manage change effectively.
