Manager in Commercial Systems at Flydubai in ENI Sapphire Tower Office number 6, Al Ittihad Road. Port Saeed, Deira Dubai, UAE develop, maintain and implement commercial systems, providing a roadmap in alignment with the commercial vision of flydubai. This involves developing and implementing analytics solutions, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning strategies to optimize revenue, including demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and revenue maximization. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-45000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Manager Commercial Systems

• Formulates system specifications through end user interactions and gets them translated into functionality through external and internal technology teams. Develops and executes comprehensive test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
• Builds and refines AI/ML predictive models and algorithms to analyze large & complex datasets and identifies trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue optimization. Automates revenue management processes and enables real-time decision-making.
• Monitors and evaluates revenue management metrics. Communicates these findings, insights, and recommendations to commercial stakeholders including executives and senior management.
• Manages the revenue planning process, which delivers revenue targets and forecasts to Commercial and Route Managers.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that their commercial systems are effectively meeting the needs of the business and driving operational excellence.
• Identifies and evaluates new tools, technologies, and data sources to enhance analytics capabilities and improve decision-making processes.
• Conducts periodic reviews of various commercial systems and benchmarks flydubai’s practices against other airlines for implementing best practices and driving efficiency & cost effectiveness.
• Works with flydubai partners, other departments to facilitate system integration, data interfacing between different systems to ensure a seamless ecosystem.
• Run analytics for various what-if scenarios, business contingencies to proactively react to unanticipated business conditions and ensure timely decision-making leading to revenue gains for the business.
• Stays abreast with latest developments and trends in AI/ML technologies, revenue management practices, and industry best practices.
• Leads and mentors a team of analysts, data scientists, and business intelligence professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive professional development and team success.

Requirements for Role of Manager Commercial Systems

• Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years) in Engineering/Finance/Statistics/Accounting/Economics/Mathematics.
• Minimum of 5-10 Years experience in Revenue Management.

Skills And Knowledge Desired
