HSBC is presently hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of Manager Cards Product. The role holder has primary accountability for Cards product development with the aim to increase card profitability. This role reports to the Head of Cards Product and Innovation UAE.
Responsibilities of Manager Cards Product
- Responsible for development and launch of new cards product and services, in order to grow market share in key customer segments with the aim to significantly grow business profitability
- Engage in management of, and negotiation with, third party partners to deliver best in class and commercially viable card value proposition
- Ensure cards policies and processes are fair, compliant, customer-centric and commercially sustainable across all stages of the customer life cycle
- Adopt the Value Streams and Agile ways of working to efficiently deliver products and process streamlining to both clients and frontline colleagues
- Maintain Regulatory and HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit observations together with any issues raised by external regulators
- Own and manage the end to end customer life cycle for cards product through collaboration with Portfolio Management, Marketing, Business Analytics, CRM and Distribution teams with the aim to increase product profitability per card product
- Ongoing frontline engagement to continuously train and upskill Distribution teams on cards products and processes
- Manage in-depth product review, identify and report on areas of opportunities, gaps and trends, providing recommendations to drive positive results for the Bank and its customers
- Establish a close working relationship with stakeholders and delivery partners, actively managing dependencies between teams and other projects and programmed.
Requirements of Manager Cards Product
- Bachelor’s degree in related field like Business and Finance.
- Minimum 7 years of banking experience in card product management.
- Knowledge and experience of a retail banking business in an emerging market with an understanding of market dynamics
- Knowledge and experience of risk management across various risk categories credit risk, operational risk, etc.
