An opportunity has arisen for a Manager – Brand Governance to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The job holder will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency across all hotel operations and communications, overseeing the adherence to brand standards, and guiding the strategic positioning of the brand within the hospitality market.

Responsibilities of Manager

  • Develop a systematic approach to effective brand management, using Brand Guidelines and Principles to steer the implementation of the Jumeirah brand.
  • How the Brand is used, and its activation in operational, marketing, service, and other business areas (both at a corporate and property level).
  • Actively communicate and enforce brand governance policies to all relevant stakeholders. Generate and analyze reports on brand compliance.
  • Use these insights for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely under the direction of the VP Brand to ensure brand standards implementation is effective and unified.
  • Have hands-on oversight of the Jumeirah Brand implementation across hotels, restaurants, spas, and experiences.
  • Ensuring that each touchpoint carries the core values and visual identity of the Jumeirah Group consistently.
  • Develop and manage a robust auditing scheme to maintain brand consistency across all guest-facing areas. This scheme should include regular reviews and adjustments to ensure brand standards are consistently met.
  • Implement and monitor branding standards across Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and Jumeirah Corporate Business Units. Ensure that all internal and corporate application of the brand (across all business units) is consistently and correctly executed. This ranges from branded collateral to brand rituals / service standards. It may include policies, processes, applications, and expressions of the brand.
  • Work closely with the Brand Trainer to provide Jumeirah Corporate and Jumeirah Property teams with up-to-date information, materials, and tools for effectively training employees on brand standards and applications.
  • Provide regular, constructive feedback to marketing and design teams regarding branding adjustments and improvements.
  • Focus on an ongoing strategy for brand uplift and alignment. This includes regularly evaluating and updating brand guidelines, processes, and systems to reflect market trends, customer expectations, and corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with different departments and stakeholders to ensure that the brand evolves in a way that is coherent and aligned with Jumeirah Group’s overall strategy.

Requirements of Manager

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Studies or Similar.
  • A minimum of 5 years in of working in Brand Management or Brand Governance.
  • Experience of working within luxury hospitality or hotels, or a global blue-chip organization.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Have worked with a broad range of stakeholders and successfully implemented brand guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
