GAL, a leading provider of logistics and manpower solutions, is seeking a seasoned Manager in Aviation Maintenance to join their growing team in Khalifa City, Sector 33, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-40000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Manager Aviation Maintenance

• Oversee all aspects of their aviation maintenance department, including planning, administration, and resource management.
• Provide direct leadership to maintenance personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure all aircraft inspections, practices, and records comply with strict regulations and industry standards.
• Spearhead comprehensive phase inspections, modifications, and repairs for aircraft structures, engines, and accessories.
• Collaborate with Production Control to schedule maintenance, track progress, and forecast downtime.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities while maintaining accountability for your entire team.
• Advocate for your team by ensuring they have the tools, equipment, and training to excel.

Requirements for Role of Manager Aviation Maintenance

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent.
• High School Diploma Graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course required.
• Must be able to attain a UAE Driving License.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in aviation maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or equivalent.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Strong knowledge of FAA, EASA, TAMMS-A, and aviation maintenance practices.
