To cater to a young and rapidly evolving consumer base in the Middle East that is increasingly shopping online, Al Tayer’s retail division turned to AWS to accelerate its Digital Transformation efforts and reliably launched four e-commerce platforms, alongside Android and iOS apps, all within a year. Currently Al Tayer Group is looking for a Showroom Manager for Jaguar/Land Rover in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.

Role of Showroom Manager

At Al Tayer, A Showroom Manager has to plan, manage, and lead the showroom sales in order to achieve sales targets. He will supervise functioning of the showroom while ensuring Efficient and Effective showroom standards and monitoring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of Showroom Manager

A Showroom Manager at Al Tayer Group is responsible for the following

• Plan and Execute JLR’s sales strategies and make sure to achieve or exceed the budget target.
• Coordinate with the sales manager.
• Communicate sales plan & targets to the sales in order to achieve targets successfully.
• Manage sales process to ensure quality in the entire process.
• Prepare stock requirement for the month defining specifications, model and number of Vehicles for the approval of the sales manager.
• Review daily sales activities, Team Product kntowledge and Showroom Presentation. Focus on delivering strong monthly results in line with its objectives.
• Liaise with appropriate Internal Stakeholders to provide customers with efficient sales support.
• Deal with critical problems and major customer complaints or issues that may be escalated. Ensure prompt action or decisions in a timely resolution.
• Interact regularly with the existing and prospective customers to establish Profitable relationships. Determine their present and future requirements.
• Prepare offer creation and provide it to Customers.
• Ensure all Customer data is effectively recorded.
• Maximize usage of demo’s and monitor demo to sale ratio.

What you’ll do

• Manage all aspects of the Showroom to ensure high standards in the Display, Housekeeping and Product Information in order to convey the desired image of JLR and ATM.
• Monitor PDI process and ensure highest level of Customer satisfaction.
• Communicate properly and efficiently with JLR customers in the respective Showroom of the region.
• Stay Well-informed on the market requirements and Customers’ preferences.
• Prepare reports in Autoline and deliver to the sales manager for review.
• Provide Leadership and direction to subordinates towards the achievement of goals and objectives.
• Guide, Motivate, and Evaluate subordinates on their performance, productivity and progress.
• Identify training needs of team members to improve eyfficiency and ensure Conformity with standard procedures and practices.
• Ensure that team members acquire the required skills and knowledge through ayppropriate Training Programs.
• Ensure potential successors are Identified, Developed, and Trained for succession planning purposes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related discipline.
• Five to eight years of experience in sales, preferably in the Automotive industry.

• Must be fluent in Arabic, preferably a native Arabic speaker.
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills.
• Strong People Management skills.
• Strong Understanding of Regional market.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in Autoline will be an added advantage.
