The Luxury Events Manager is expected to oversee and organize impactful events for HNWI. The ideal candidate will ensure events are high end, successful and cost-effective, paying attention to detail. This role requires the candidate to be an effective project manager who understands the luxury market. It is essential to possess qualities such as creativity, organizational skills, and ability to manage a team and various suppliers. This role working week will mainly be Tuesday – Saturday but subject to flexibility.

Responsibilities of Luxury Events Manager

  • Planning event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.
  • Coming up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
  • Preparing budgets and ensuring adherence.
  • Obtaining permits if required.
  • Liaising with venue operators to negotiate costs.
  • Sourcing and negotiating with vendors, suppliers and sponsorship.
  • Communicating the event in an appealing way to the target audiences.
  • Supervising all staff involved with each event.
  • Coordinating the operations of the events.
  • Leading promotional activities and sponsors during the events.
  • Ensuring the event is completed smoothly and resolving any problems or challenges that may occur during the event.
  • Analyzing the event’s success and preparing reports post-event.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements of Luxury Events Manager

  • Tertiary education in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or other relevant subjects OR equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven work experience of 1-2 years as an Events Manager or similar in the UAE.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Background in Luxury sector.
  • Experience working with HNWI, Local Royalty and celebrities.
  • Full English proficiency is required.
  • Additional spoken languages are a plus.
  • Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g., MS Office.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong project management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Proven managerial and leadership skills.
  • Previous experience working in Luxury Sector.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of high-end events such as F1, or working with boats or sporting events preferred.
