Loss Prevention Specialist ADNOC Abu Dhabi

The role of Loss Prevention Specialist at ADNOC is to develop and monitor implementation of corporate loss prevention philosophies and standards on fire protection, gas leak detection and safety systems with regard to the design, construction and operation of ADNOC Group facilities and contractor drilling operations. Participate in loss prevention activities including hazard identification and risk analyses and studies developed to address specific issues related to safety of personnel or continuity of production. Duties Of Loss Prevention Specialist

• Lead loss prevention review programs to audit ADNOC Group HSE performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify hazards and evaluate potential losses through inspection, engineering analysis, analysis of loss prevention data, or through other analytical techniques for hazard loss identification and mitigation.
• Develop recommendations and solutions for mitigating or eliminating potential losses and identified hazards.
• Lead and/or conduct safety studies / activities, such as PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs.
• Participate in incident investigations, compliance reviews or insurance surveys.
• Develop and update safety standards, instructions, codes, and processes and formalize them into company documented practices as required.
• Lead conduct of qualitative and quantitative risk studies or consequence analyses.
• Studies include toxic gas dispersion modeling and blast calculations and disseminate the outcome for implementation in ADNOC & Group Companies.
• Identify safety concerns, formulate solutions, and develop practical and cost effective corrective recommendations for implementation.
• Guide the Group Companies in developing and evaluating the effectiveness of safety processes within their organization in line with the ADNOC Corporate Loss prevention policies.
• Review designs for new projects, upgrade of existing facilities or proposed facility modifications (Management of Change) for compliance with company safety standards and good industry practices.
