Responsibilities of Logistics Supervisor

Ensure all service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service.
Demonstrate a commitment to personal guest service excellence
Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests.
Train, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems and coach and counsel the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.
Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
Coordinate warehousing and storage activities, including inventory management, stock rotation, and space allocation.
Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to address logistics related inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to logistics operations and performance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements for Logistics Supervisor

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience of 2 – 5 Years in similar role.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

Strong understanding of logistics principles, practices, and procedures.
Proficiency in logistics software and systems, including transportation management. systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
Flexibility to work varying hours and travel occasionally as needed.
