Logistics Operator CAFU Dubai

CAFU is currently hiring for the job position of a Logistics Operator in Dubai who is in charge of all CAFU trucks upon arrival at the Depot. They are also responsible for overseeing their working areas and the team under them (Dispatchers & Helper) as well as making sure all equipment’s provided for the operations are in good condition (Chocks, Loading hoses, CAFU services pump nozzles, MT’s offloading bay hoses, Complete Proper protection equipments PE, Earthing cables, TCS Skids, Sensor PD Meter LED Display). Logistics Operators oversees the onsite operations and provide a preventive measure for safe working environment. This is an entry level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 3000 AED to 6000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Logistics Operator

• Receiving the CAFU truck at the end of the Pilot’s shift and make sure they are refilled and ready for dispatch.
• Ensuring that all CAFU trucks are refueled via the CAFU logitron.
• Ensuring that all trucks condition is in good state while doing their operations and communicate all defects to the Logistics Supervisor on Shift, etc. (Truck TCS issue, Inventory issues, Trucks seal issues, Truck loading point bottleneck issues, Hose leakage).
• Maintaining or Confirming the Helper connect the rightful hose to the correct compartment of products both Gasoline and Gasoil to avoid spillage incidents.
• Overseeing the Truck states of cleanliness by observation and passing information to the Logistics Supervisors on shift.
• Ensuring the depot is up to the company HSE standards.
• Ensuring all the equipment’s on the loading bay are in good condition at all time of operations and communicate all defects to the Logistics Supervisor on Shift, etc.
• Fire extinguisher, Truck loading hose, Loading bay TCS skid and many others.
• Constant and clear communication with the logistics supervisor on shift and logistics team leader.
• Reporting arrival and dispatch times from loading bay and reasons in case of truck lateness for refill or dispatch to field.

Eligibility Requirements for Logistics Operator

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience required.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Ability to be in control of all CAFU trucks upon arrival, inside & before dispatch from the Depot.
• Excellent work ethic and attitude.
• Ability to work in harsh environments and under stressful conditions.
• Accuracy in reporting and record keeping.
• Foresight in maintaining the CAFU trucks refueling / CAFU trucks tanks with Diesel and trucks cleanliness.
