Dubai’s Consumer Goods industry is actively recruiting individuals to join their team as an Logistics Coordinator. The selected candidate will have a strong background in logistics and a proven track record of managing shipments and coordinating with suppliers.
Responsibilities of Logistics Coordinator
- Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers.
- Ensure that shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Communicate with suppliers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory using a computerized inventory system.
- Assist with the preparation of shipping documents and customs paperwork.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with the development and implementation of logistics plans and procedures.
Requirements for the role of Logistics Coordinator
The requirements for the said job are as following.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
